 Applies to Kahf Browser (mobile & desktop) This service is provided “AS IS.”

This privacy policy applies to the Kahf Browser application and desktop software (“Application”) created by Kahf Yazılım A.Ş. (“Service Provider”). By installing or using the Application, you (“user”) agree to the practices below. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Application.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect the following when you download and use it:

  • Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address (anonymised where possible)
  • Basic device details (model, operating-system version, language, app version)
  • Crash logs and diagnostic events
  • Time spent in the Application and general feature usage

The Application does not collect precise location data.

Any optional details you provide (e.g., feedback) are retained and used only as described in this policy. We may use contact information you supply to send required notices or product announcements.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymised data is periodically transmitted to external services strictly to keep the Application stable and secure. The Application uses:
  • Google Play Services
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics
Each provider processes data solely on Kahf’s behalf under its own published privacy policy.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose user-provided or automatically collected data:
  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., subpoena)
  • When necessary to protect Kahf’s rights, user safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests
  • With trusted service providers who work on Kahf’s behalf, have no independent right to use the data and are bound by confidentiality
Kahf does not sell or rent personal data.

Opt-Out Rights

You may stop all data collection by disabling analytics in the Application’s settings (where available) or by uninstalling the Application via your device’s standard process.

Data Retention Policy

Diagnostic data is retained only for as long as necessary for security and maintenance, then deleted or anonymised. To request deletion of any user-provided data, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and Kahf does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it promptly.

Security

Kahf employs physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect data. However, no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure; use the Application at your own discretion.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes within the Application and update the “Effective Date.” Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
